The National Youth Service Corps has fixed Wednesday, June 10, 2026, for the start of registration for the 2026 Batch B Stream I Orientation Course.
NYSC said reception and registration of prospective corps members will run until midnight on Friday, June 12, across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The announcement was made Thursday in a statement signed by Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu.
The swearing-in ceremony for mobilised corps members will also hold on Friday, June 12. The orientation exercise will end on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
NYSC wished all mobilised graduates safe travel to their orientation camps and repeated its warning against night travel.
Prospective corps members were advised to stop journeys by 6 pm and spend the night at a corps members’ lodge, military formation, police station, outpost, or the palace of a traditional ruler before continuing the next morning.
